About this piece:

This painting was inspired by scenes from horror films. One of my favorite scenes in a scary movie is when the camera focuses on a shadow in the room. After a while you start to see a shape emerge and it gives you this sense of dread. The scariest part to me is that you always notice the whites of the eyes first! So I tried to capture that moment and feeling in this little painting.
